Biography
I am mostly working on strengthening power grid resilience to extreme weather events now and in the future, considering large-scale transmission and distribution systems, planning and operational aspects, net zero carbon emissions targets, and sector couplings. Having covered a considerably wide range of aspects involved in power system resilience assessment and enhancement decisions with strong interdisciplinary and intersectoral contributions, I envisage to positively contribute to climate change mitigation and adaptation in energy systems worldwide.
Research interests
I am mostly working on enhancements in power system resilience to extreme weather events now and in the future, considering large-scale interconnected transmission and distribution systems as well as smart grids. My work has covered a considerably wide range of aspects involved in power system resilience assessment and enhancement decisions with strong interdisciplinary and intersectoral contributions.
